Very cool. I wish everyone could recognize that police...

...are all human beings, first and foremost. As such, they are both fallible, and also capable of compassion, just like the rest of us. I think a lot of the problems we're seeing throughout our country could be avoided if people were able to simply interact human-to-human with police officers in their community as you did tonight. I think it would help citizens gain trust in police, and vice versa.
